Your initial 90-minute session includes a comprehensive health history discussion, symptom assessment, and gentle physical evaluation (only what you’re comfortable with). We’ll create a personalized treatment plan together, and you’ll leave with a clear understanding of your body and next steps.

What should I expect during my first vist?

Treatment should never be painful. We work within your comfot level always, using gentle techniques that honor your body’s healing process. Some people experience mild soreness as their body adjusts, similar to starting a new exercise routine, but this is temporary and normal.

Is pelvic floor therapy painful?

Every healing journey is unique. Some women see significat improvement in 4-6 sessions, while others with complex conditions may benefit from longer care. We’ll discuss realistic timelines during your assessment and adjust as your body responds to treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

Operating as a cash-pay practice allows us to spend adequate time with each client (up to 60-90 minutes per session) without insurance restrictions. This means we can provide truly individualized care focused on your healing, not insurance limitations. We offer payment plans and accept HSA/FSA payments.

Why is woven wellness a cash-pay practice?

Absolutely! Collaborative care is central to our philosophy. We regularly coordinate with physicians, mental health professionals, chiropractors, doulas, and other specialists to ensure you receive comprehensive cupport for your healing journey.

We address your whole body and whole story, not just your pelvic floor in isolation. We understand the emotional and mental components of healing, advocate for collaborate care, and are committed to helping you achieve complete wellness, not just symptom managment.

What makes woven wellness different?

Whatever you’re comfortable with! Ideally clothing that allows for easy movement such as athletic wear or loose-fitting clothes work well.

What should be worn for a session?

Simply come as you are! It’s helpful to complete your paperwork prior to your appointment so we can review information and plan accordinly for your initial evaluation. If you are having any difficulties accessing your paperwork please don’t hesitate to reach our beforehand for additional assistance.

How do i prepare for my first appointment?

Your comfort is our priority. Internal assessment and treatment are often beneficial, but never required. We’ll discuss all options, explain everything beforehand, and only proceed with techniques you consent to.
